ABOUT

I'm Sarah Williams, the writer and adventurer behind Yet To Be Realized. I strive to live a simple and uncomplicated life that celebrates the every day moments we often take for granted. I could be called a minimalist-collector if such a thing exists (not a collector of minimalists, but a minimalist who collects). My ears perk when I hear the words "museum" or "library" and I have a deep love of the past despite my efforts to live in the present. I hope to travel far and wide as I explore my own past, find my future, and fulfill my need for a creative life.

I grew up in a small Texas town and found my way to Austin where I attended The University of Texas. I studied music as an undergraduate and later received my master's in information science. Subsequently I am the family archivist and genealogist given the delicate task of preserving the who, what, and why of my family. I have a special affinity for my Scandinavian heritage and their lifestyle that embraces the intersection of beauty and function, and treats nature as an integral part, and way, of life.

I currently live in Austin with my boyfriend, Nick, and our cats, Miles and Satie.
